Dear Reviewers and authors of Journal of Tropical Oceanography:

     Approved by the leaders of the organizer, the new layout fees, review fees and author remuneration standards will be implemented. The new standards and the implementation time are as follows.

     1) Layout fee: The original fee is 180 RMB per page for black and white pages, 500 yuan/page for color pages; The new standard is adjusted to black and white page 200 RMB per page, color page 600 RMB per page;

     2) Contribution fee: The original payment standard is 60RMB per page, 420 RMB is capped. The new issuance standard is 100 RMB per page, and 700 RMB is capped;

     3) Expert review fee: the original payment standard is 60 RMB per time The new standard is 300 60 RMB per article;

     4) Editor-in-chief review fee: the original payment standard is 30 RMB per time. The new standard is 50 RMB per time;

    5) Labor fee for invited English editors: The original standard is 100 RMB per article for Chinese manuscripts and 100 RMB per page for English manuscripts, but the new standard is 200 RMB per article for Chinese manuscripts and 200 100 RMB per page for English manuscripts.

     According to the actual work progress of the journal, the layout fee and contribution fee are planned to be implemented in accordance with the new standard from the 6th issue in 2019. The review fees for experts and chief editors are expected to implement the new standard from 2019. The fee collection and release time is the same as the original, that is, the page fee and the manuscript fee are issued by period, and the manuscript review fee is issued in one lump sum at the end of the year or the beginning of the next year (depending on the financial arrangement of the unit).
